This policy explains when you can get a refund for credits purchased on ScholarLib. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our payment processor and merchant of record — refunds are issued back to your original payment method through Dodo Payments.
If you have not used any credits from a purchase, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the purchase date.
Credits are consumed at the moment you generate a draft in the Drafting Room or run an analysis in the Analyzer, since that triggers real, non-reversible work. Consumed credits are not refundable. If a purchase has some credits remaining, we can refund the unused portion within the 7-day window described above.
If you were charged in error, charged twice for the same purchase, or a specific generation/analysis failed to complete due to a technical problem on our end, contact us — we will investigate and, if confirmed, restore the affected credit or refund that specific charge, regardless of the 7-day window. This does not extend to refunding other credits in the same purchase that were used successfully.
Email support@scholarlib.app with the email address on your ScholarLib account and, if available, your Dodo Payments order/receipt reference. We will confirm your credit usage and respond within a few business days.
Approved refunds are issued by Dodo Payments to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.
We reserve the right to decline refund requests that show a pattern of abuse (for example, repeatedly purchasing, using, and requesting refunds for credits).
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
